The list of things which can happen, is much too long to post here, as some related there are many things not to blame the dog about.. (Nadine worked for a Vet for 38 years) As a psychologist, know the best way to help, is to remember the good things about your Pet... Whenever you think of the incident, switch to a memory which is one of of the good ones. Think about what you could see, hear, feel, touch, etc.... Then to an earlier similar memory, by doing this you can work your way back to some of the earliest memories... Our brain is like a computer, if we focus on the latest or painful memory, we are telling it, "make me feel bad." When we switch to a better memory we tell it "Make me feel this way." It does just what we tell it to do, and over a few weeks, even if we think about the worst memory, it changes or stops making us feel the way we felt while that was happening." So just practice SWITCHING Memories, for a few weeks, and you can be very surprised how you feel, before long... Another think you can do, when praying, ask, "What can I learn that will help me?" Then wait for an answer. If the answer helps you feel better, that is a correct answer. If it does not help or makes you feel worse, discard such answers. For Only Good, Comes from HIM, HE does not give us answers that harm us....

Wow, I didn't know they would do that! I'm so sorry you had to go through that. Especially with the name you chose for the photo. Something definitely was conditional beyond your knowing or control. Thank the Lord that He will never leave or forsake us. He is the same, yesterday, today, and forever!

I am so sorry to hear this. I pray that you are healing well both physically and mentally. It is so hard to understand when these things happen. May God's Love be with you at this time.

Tanya Tanski replied:

Thank you so much for your heartfelt comments. This is the first time I have been back online since the accident and it feels wonderful. Thanks for the prayers.

Oh darling how heartbreaking :( I pray you can find peace and healing and God's loving touch in this time of need. I can relate to your sorrow as I have had to have a family dog put down after he bit my 5year old son. I guess an animal can be domesticated, but their primal nature can take over if there is anything going wrong internally that we are not aware of :(

Well, that is amazing. You know one time the city came a dug up the sewage pipes and let it pour in to our back yard. Our little dog of many years became unable to respond. She tried to bit us all and I took her to the vet and she had a disease that effects the brain. He said it take a lot of medicine to keep her alive. She ran off with us trying to catch her and we never saw her again. I wish you all well. The only consolation was that the kids didn't have watch her die. It is like the disease makes them unable to remember who we are and paranoid. There is nothing that God can't heal though.I will keep you in prayer. It is very painful when you love them like family. Sincerely Suebethian

I know how you feel. I had to do the same thing when my puppy of 18 months attacked my 80 year old father for no apparent reason. She is pictured in my portfolio in a couple of works. One that comes to mind is "my pretty puppy". She was a little boxer mix. Nobody really knows what went wrong either and I am sure that yours like mine never knew a day without love. I will be praying for you.

TO MY FAA FAMILY: I apologize for not responding to all the wonderful comments lately. However, a horrific thing happened to me on Friday, July 13. My three year bichon dog named Bobbles (pictured here, titled, "Unconditional Love,” viscously attack me while I was lying in bed, for no reason. I have over 39 bites including, but not limited to, my face, hands, legs, and arms My dog has been placed in quarantine for ten days and will be put to sleep. This dog was my little baby, and no one can explain what went wrong. Please pray for me during these difficult times. Sincerely, Tanya

PLEASE CLICK ON THE SMALL IMAGES (Thumbnails), TO ENLARGE MY ORIGINAL WORK. I've had an interest in photography ever since I can remember; I'm rarely found without my camera. When not taking photos, I will most likely be in front of a canvas. I'm passionate about bringing my orginal photographs to life on a canvas. I grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee and attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville on full scholarship. I worked for years as a professional model, while also working in advertising. I have traveled extensively to Paris France; Italy; Spain; Brussels Belgium; and Africa, which afforded me a greater appreciation of the arts. Life took me to Los Angeles, California where I...
